The Church of Saint Barbara in Dąbrowa Górnicza has served Catholics since just after the war. However, the building itself has a long history. It was built for Lutherans in the second half of the nineteenth century. After the Second World War, the church served the students of the “Sztygarka’ School of Mining. The building has no specific style, but some elements of its architecture refer to both the neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic.
