The Żywiec castle park adjoins the castle and the palace from the south, occupying an area of about 26 hectares. For centuries, it underwent numerous metamorphoses: it was founded in the Italian style, but after a century, it was transformed into an English park, and later into a naturalistic one. The decoration work was conducted by the last of the Habsburg owners of Żywiec. The charm of the park is highlighted by monumental trees, canals, fountains and flowerbeds. An interesting monument is an eighteenth-century Chinese House.
