Today’s main railway station in Bielsko-Biała, entered into the register of monuments, is situated along the Trail of Industrial Monuments. The railway station was built in 1890. However, the origins of railway in the city are 30 years older. At that very early stage Bielsko lay along a side offshoot of the oldest European railway lines of the Northern Railways of Emperor Franz Ferdinand. The railway station was renovated at the end of the last century.
