“Jasionka” is the name of the upper section of the stream of Jasienica, also known as Jasienicka. The whole stream is about 21 km long. The sources are located at an altitude of 730 m above sea level, on the slopes of the Błatnia massif, lying in the north of the Silesian Beskids. In the forested mountain valley there is a settlement belonging to Jaworze. Further, the stream flows through the lower areas of the Silesian Foothills. The upper part of the valley has valuable natural assets.
