In the village of Stara Wieś, located in the commune of Wilamowice, in the district of Bielsko, it is worthwhile to see several monuments, including a manor house. The manor house, dating from the second half of the eighteenth century, was erected on the site of an earlier, sixteenth-century building. At the present time, the manor house is unfortunately much neglected, which was due to the years of the communist regime, during which the mansion was the seat of the cooperative, called "Postęp". Near the mansion, a monumental oak tree has survived.
