The church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Ruda Śląska-Kochlowice stands in contrast with the brick buildings, dating from the time of rapid industrialization of the region. The church was built in the Baroque style in 1806, thanks to the financial aid of Henckl Lazarus von Donnersmarck. Inside the shrine, one can find an interesting altar in the shape of a grotto and many Baroque monuments. Interestingly, the tower of the church is inclined from the vertical by as much as 60 cm!
